Well, after a couple weeks where winners and losers reigned, Major League Soccer decided to throw a curve ball and give us a week where half the games were draws. Last Thursday, Major League Soccer released the 2011 regular season schedule. The playoff schedule is still to be determined, and the TV schedule leaves MUCH to be desired.

Once again Major League Soccer has had a weekend of “surprises”. As Two Yellows pointed out last weekend, this is an exciting league because any team can win any game. Not a single person picked Kansas City to defeat Los Angeles, even KCGunner Wizard only picked “his” team for a draw. However, we still have [...]

A continuing look into the world of football on television. Let’s get to it, shall we? Sky3D is coming to England – Sky will be launching their own 3D/HD channel starting with a preview, which will be this Sunday’s Manchester United-Arsenal clash at the Emirates. I feel like I’m behind on this 3D phenomenon. I [...]

You may remember back during the 3rd qualifying round, I took a look at how Fox had been running their Champions League coverage. Today I’m going to revisit that a bit now that FSC has had a chance to actually get some games under their belt and we’re into full on Champions League mode and [...]
The Full Fox Champions League TV Schedule

One of the things that I’ve personally been really impressed with about Fox’s presentation of the Champions League has been their willingness to replay the matches later on in the week. This seems like a simple thing (after all, they replay Premier League matches ad nauseum throughout the week), but it’s not something that’s done [...]
