Farewell, Ginger Ninja. May you slide into coaching as deftly as you slid through so many opponents.
Wow, a little early for the MLS housecleaning, it seems to me.
I have been to Oakland recently, and can attest that the extraterrestrials have already landed and intermixed with the poupluation. (Note: This is a joke about wierdos in the Bay Area).
Especially in the case of Thordarson; this was his first year in MLS, but he’d taken the team pretty far with the Whitecaps back when they were in USL-2 and frankly deserved to finish off the season. Not every expansion franchise can do what Seattle or Philly do, and the stability of a manager was something they could really rely on.
I accidentally drove through Oakland one day… i escaped with my life. 1 year later i started my own survival show on the travel channel.
