- The Premier League (and my fantasy team) is none too pleased with Blackpool manager Ian Holloway’s decision to make ten changes to his starting lineup for yesterday’s match against Aston Villa; Ian Holloway says he’ll quit if he’s fined for his squad rotation.

Joey being Joey again: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/9181426.stm?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
Becks probably could play to 40 and beyond. For a guy with as many miles on him as he has, he looks damn good out there.
Landon deserves to be playing on the biggest stage for football and that’s in Europe. Yes, he’s the poster boy for soccer here. Yes, it would hurt the league to have him go. The fact is that the MLS is not on par right now with the Euro leagues and if he wants to heighten the game, he needs to go abroad.
This bullshit about weakened squads and whatever…if you have the players on the squad, who the hell are the Prem to say: You suck too much to play or too many of you suck to be on the pitch at once. That’s a dangerous precedent.
Gartside wants a wage cap, eh? I wouldn’t be against it, but I’m sure the top 5 would.
Joey was just starting to seem like he’d stopped being Joey, too.
You can’t stop the crazy. You can only hope to contain it. We haven’t had a Roy Keane freakout in a while either, so I keep watching on that front.
