Our Pick’Em season is now two-thirds of the way through. It would appear that Major League Soccer is continuing to be a difficult league to predict. Aside from a brief spurt early on by epiblast at the top of the weekly chart for three weeks in a row, we’ve had only a few pickers win [...]

Hey, remember last week when you hadn’t seen a really good game since the beginning of July? If you spent your weekend anything like I did, you’ve probably watched the better part of the five Premier League games available, you’re taping the Newcastle-Manchester United game for later, and your wife is already anxious for the [...]

Check this space tomorrow for the second half of my New England Revolution collection. I just got back from a brutal three day hiking expedition (followed by a six hour drive!) and I’m in no shape to sit in front of the computer… Your understanding is much appreciated.

I’m running desperately late this morning, so it’s going to have to be a newsy notes sort of thing today. Sorry, but I do have a column for this week on MLS that should be a real page-turner (I hope). Galaxy 1, Red Bulls 0 – “Buddle scored after Marquez gave the ball away near [...]

The great thing about creating a aggregate final Premier League table is that all six of us get to have our say in creating an end product with which none of us are happy. “Resigned” is probably a more apt description. On the one hand our boundless homerism is tempered by our more dispassionate peers [...]
