Dear Readers,
As you know, we recently accepted some submissions to potentially become authors on this blog. I’m pleased to announce we’ve chosen two gentlemen, Mike Georger (@mikegeorger on Twitter) and Kevin Nellis (@kevinnellis), and added them as authors. I couldn’t be more pleased that we’ve added these two fine lads, so look for them to start having articles here very soon.
Now, to all of those who submitted, thank you. We could not be more appreciative of your efforts and thoughts about wanting to join us. I would expect that there will be further opportunities with our tiny band of misfits in the very near future (more than likely around the World Cup), and of course, we’re always looking for ideas or columns if you have something for us. Also, now that MLS season is (hopefully) here, we’ll take any and all match reports, should you have them. The bottom line is this. This wasn’t a popularity contest, nor is it a slight towards anyone who submitted. We’re pleased with the choices we made, we’re in need of some bodies right now and there will be opportunities in the future. So hang in there with us.
Good luck to Mike and Kevin, and please make them welcome once they start posting. Thank you for reading us and supporting us. We do very much appreciate it.
