This has what it’s come to, folks. In today’s Financial Times, the administrators who are now in charge of Crystal Palace ran this ad to try drum up a new owner. If it reminds you vaguely of the tactics used to try and sell Michael Owen, then you’re starting to pick up on the pattern of the P&A Partnership; they’re the ad wizards behind both campaigns. At this rate, you’ll start seeing Blue Square South clubs for sale on Craigslist by the end of 2011.

I bet we’d do better buying them than Pompey.
We’d be even better off buying Ebbsfleet. Less debt to worry about.
Plus we wouldn’t have to put up with Neil Warnock.
Well, I don’t get paid until NEXT Friday, but could we work something out then?
I’m waiting till we see ads giving away a free Portsmouth much like the ads you see giving away free iPods and stuff, just fill out a survey and you too could own a football club!
I’d definitely be willing to contribute to the ownership fund.
I’ll see if I can re-finance my debt and help you folks work something out.
