If you’re like me, you’re pretty excited for tonight. Troy faces off against Central Michigan. Ok, I’m not excited either, but it’s better than watching Jay Leno make bad jokes he’s been recycling for the last 15 years. I was really hoping that lowercase had written a preview of the bowl so I could steal a paragraph or two from it, but he didn’t so I can’t.
In other sports news, Gilbert Arenas was supended indefinetly, Andre Dawson made it into the Baseball Hall of Fame (Mark McGuire only got 22%), and Arsenal v Bolton was snowed out (and I really wanted to see Tomas Rosicky get injured for another 6 months!)
I’m sure there was plenty of other exciting happenings today in sports, but I was at the dentist this morning and I can only just now feel my face, so I’m gonna go eat. Talk about sporty things in the comments and hit the jump to see some cheesecake and tonight’s musical accompaniment.

Oh, it’s not a bad time for me. I love the focus on the Premier League right now, and Spain is still playing. Italy started back up, and we’re still waiting on Germany. There’s stuff going on with MLS and it’s finances, and you may have seen Fuse’s piece on the lower-level leagues here as well. There’s the transfer window in January, FA Cup, the Carling Cup semi-finals, the MLS Super Draft here in Philadelphia.
