Well, here we are.
I have to admit that I was surprised by two things this week- how close the voting was and who the winners were.
So, once again, the basic rule: vote for the player you believe has fallen shortest of the mark in terms of both public expectations and in living up to his potential as a footballer.
As is always the case with contests here at ATD there will be no tangible prize, but will you walk away from your cubicle at the end of the day with the knowledge that somebody, somewhere has been more of a disappointment to the world than you have been.* Assuming, of course, you voted for the winner. Well then, have at it!
That’s right, no Freddy Adu, no Conor Casey, no Landycakes!
The winner will be announced next Monday.
*Your results may vary. Stealing office supplies may achieve the same mental state.
No John O’Brien?
Johnson by a mile…Beasley at least had something that could be termed a heyday (namely, 2002), whereas Johnson’s never done anything but beat up on the Panamas of the world.
