Many thanks to all of those who took part in last week’s challenge.
The answer to what all of these players had in common is that they each played on both sides of a major derby.
Mo Johnston (Glasgow)
Andreas Görlitz (Munich)
Sebastiano Siviglia (Rome)
Peter Beardsley (Liverpool)
Clarence Seedorf (Milan)
Luis Filipe (Lisbon)
Andrew Barrowman (Highland)
Gabriel Batistuta (Buenos Aires)
Hugo Sanchez (Madrid)
László Kubala (Barcelona)
Peter Schmeichel (Manchester)
This week there were three of you who were up to the challenge: Andrew, Nick, and WSR.
Congratulations to all of you- I’ll see if I can come up with another good one for tomorrow!
You forgot to mention that they’re all soulless bastards.
I would gladly say it to any of their faces.
Except for the Great Dane…I would first move to a fortified compound on the island of St. Helena, then dispatch a politely worded note on nice stationary via carrier pigeon…and hope that I died of natural causes long before he received it.
Yeah, I can see that.
I still stand by my belief that he was tricked by Manchester Arabia. He was probably told he was signing for a lesser team, and thought he was going to sign with some Blue Square North squad.
