Guess who’s moving into the Third Round? That’s right, Ross County F.C.
Yesterday the Staggies faced SPL cellar-dwellers Hamilton Academical F.C. in a match in which they, according to the BBC, “dominated for long spells” and earned themselves a “thoroughly-deserved victory.”
County’s goals came from summer signing Paul Di Giacomo (pictured) in the 32nd minute and Richard Brittain in the 52nd minute. Hamilton’s goal was scored in the third minute of injury time by Simon Mensing.
The Staggies will learn the identity of their Third Round opponents and the location of the match when the draw is held later this week.
