I’m saving my World Soccer Daily rant for later in the week, because I’m still trying to form coherent thoughts on what I want to say. So for now, just know there’s a rant coming.
I should also say that I’m disgusted and horrified at the attacks on Calum Davenport of West Ham United and his mum, and I’m sure that all of us here are on board with saying that we hope they both make a full recovery.
Sunday brings some interesting contests to your television screens, including the aforementioned West Ham United hosting Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs have gotten off to a flying start, and with the Davenport situation weighing on their minds, the Hammers have to be a bit of an underdog. Everton tries to get back on track in the league when they travel to visit Owen Coyle’s Burnley boys. The Joleon Lescott situation is still going on, and Everton’s back four was absolutely shredded last weekend, so it will be up to David Moyes to get the group organized and on point. The late match sees the West London derby as Chelsea gets on the bus to travel about 2 1/2 miles or so to Craven Cottage to face Roy Hodgson’s Fulham. Yesterday, Carlo Ancelotti mentioned that he felt that Chelsea’s true upcoming derby match was against Spurs, so we’ll see if the Fulham lads are interested in reminding him about who’s really in the neighborhood. I’ll be around in comments if anyone’s interested in conversing during West Ham/Spurs. The other lads will check in, I’m sure. Thanks again for all your clicks, we really appreciate you, the reader.

Alas, looking at the synopsis, Everton still doesn’t have their shit together.
It would appear not. Watch the English press start talking about “votes of confidence” and “full confidence of the board” and nonsense like that about Moyes.
That team is the sole creation of Moyes; he works with no money, but continues to impress. He should have the full confidence of the board until he decides to step down.
