It’s Newsy Notes Sunday, and look for a game report on Baltimore from a good friend of the site later. My report will come Monday or Tuesday. So let’s get to the news before we look at the telly schedule.
It appears that the magical dream of reuniting “Little and Large” will happen very soon as Pompey have accepted Spurs money offer for striker Peter Crouch. Jermain Defoe could be heard squealing with glee.
That noted pundit Emanuel Adebayor is insisting that the John-Terry-to-Citeh thing is on the brink of happening. Well, start printing jerseys then, if there’s one thing Adebayor is noted for it’s always speaking the truth.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be unveiled by Barcelona on Monday. I have trouble mustering excitement for this, I have to be honest.
The country of Belarus is delighted with the crowds that have been turning up for the European Women’s Under 19 championships. Well, bully for them.
Lots of quotes about today’s Gold Cup finale at Giants Stadium. According to the author, at least 66 percent of the fans will be cheering for Mexico. The other 33 percent will be praying that Brian Ching gets lost on the way to the stadium.
MLS from yesterday, 3 draws make Fuse something something, and your winners were Columbus, New England and Colorado.
Let’s get to the tellyfootysked, shall we? Click the “read more” button and join me in the rabbit hole.

More important than the draws, the Revolution beat Chivas last week and Houston (away!) last night despite playing with a patched-together line-up.
So, um, there’s that.
It should be interesting to see if we had similar experiences at match. Although, no one called me the C-word. That may have been because I was wearing a Chelsea jersey, instead of an Arshavin one.
I hope no one gave you too hard of a time. We had a fight a couple rows behind me towards the end of the match. The cops came in and dragged out two guys in Argentina NT shirts. It was pretty crazy.
Tomorrow Adebayor is going to release a statement saying he was JUST KIDDING. JT’s not leaving. He finally decided to grace the world with a statement.

But what about the MLS All Stars v. Everton? That should be the ONLY game on your list!!
/can’t find the special ‘sarcasm’ font…
It’s on Wednesday.
We need to get you a Fulham logo on your avatar or something
I think I can manage that – my problem is that I change avatars every week or so…my mild case of ADHD flaring up, I guess.
Loaded a new one – we’ll see if it’s a little better than what I have currently…
And this is why B-teams aren’t always a good idea. I know that the Gold Cup isn’t necessarily our 1st priority this year, but getting trounced by El Tri sucks.
