While Arsenal fans are no strangers to injuries, it doesn’t make it easier to know that you’ve lost a key player. Nasri fractured his right fibula in training this afternoon and is expected to miss 2-3 months. At best it will actually be that length of time and he’ll be able to get back out there and continue on as normal. However the worst case scenario is that he’s actually out for much longer and can’t build up his strength in a reasonable amount of time.
This could mean that Aaron Ramsey could wind up seeing time out on the wing if he’s ready. Newly healthy Tomas Rosicky or Andrei Arshavin could wind up in that role at the start of the season also, but that would lessen the attacking midfield role for the gunners. The good news is they have about £25 million in the bank from the Adebayor sale and could find a replacement player through the transfer market if need be.

I love that three of the “Possibly Related Posts” are other stories we’ve done on Arsenal injuries. Maybe we need a special tag for those?
Hopefully we wouldn’t need to see that tag the rest of the season, but whatever the tag is, it needs to be in french.
According to the Google Translator, French for Arsenal Injuries is “Arsenal Victimes”. That’s kind of funny, actually.
well then thats the new tag then, I also went ahead and added it to the other 3 as well
