Houston should have won.
They really, really should have. They’re the best team in the west, have more points than anyone else, and are probably the most well-rounded team in MLS. Yet, somehow, they lost 1-0 to the Donovan and Beckham-less L.A. Galaxy last night. Nobody here predicted a Houston loss to the Galaxy; the best anyone saw L.A. doing was snagging a draw.
I’m not one to bemoan results, as I’m not particularly interested in any one MLS team. I am interested in this Pick’em, though, and if Houston had pulled themselves together we would’ve had a first for this year: the first fully correct set of predictions.
Unfortunately for Kevin, it wasn’t meant to be; when Todd Dunivant slotted one into the net in the 24′, it was all she wrote for Houston. Still, this is the closest we’ve come to having a 100% on these little pop quizzes; congrats, Kev!
The rest of the results are after the jump.
I should mention here that, in an effort to be more like Gawker, I took away the stars of the non-staff entrants last week. You guys know the difference by now anyways.

If you can find the time, though, than there will be two MLS games on Saturday you can watch; both the D.C. United-Columbus game (on ESPN2 at 7:00 PM EST) and the New England-L.A. game (on Fox Soccer at 11:00 PM EST) will be broadcast for your viewing pleasure. The entire slate:
San Jose at Real Salt Lake
