There’s no way around it: if you DVRed tonight’s game before you went to work, you’re screwed. According to The New York Times Goal! Blog, ESPN has decided to relocate tonight’s game from the main station to ESPN2 in order to avoid a conflict with some stupid baseball game. They’ve tried to spin it by saying that this allows them to do a preview show at 9:30, but I thought that the lack of a preview show was part of the charm for tonight’s game.

I’d not think Fox would be any better, but at this point. Anyone would screw up any less than tWWL.
They may not be any better, but at the very least we won’t have to deal with the ticker at the bottom of the screen. And FSC is less likely to have matches interrupted by announcements like Brett Favre retiring for the 100th time.
You know I honestly wish that Gol TV had the rights to Champions League just so I could listen to Ray Hudson get so drunkenly excited/devastated that he cries multiple times during a group stage game between Fenerbache and PSV.
