The Ginger Prince
I shouldn’t write up these posts so early in the morning. I miss things or forget things. Nevertheless, I do know that Chelsea won a very professionally contested FA Cup Final 2-1 over a game Everton side yesterday. Louis Saha scored the fastest goal in FA Cup Final history, but sadly, that proved to be the best part of the day for the Toffees. Congratulations to Chelsea and good luck to Guus “Potato” Hiddink as he returns to manage the Russian national side as it prepares for World Cup 2010.
Speaking of WC2010, we are 2 weeks away from the dry run for that event as the 2009 Confederations Cup begins on June 14. ESPN has the domestic broadcast rights, so we should see some world-class football in High Definition, and I hope that Fox Soccer Channel takes note and gets their HD channel up and running soon.
We’ve arrived at the end of most of the Euro leagues this weekend, with Spain and Italy playing their final matches today. So what’s on the telly menu today? Let’s find out.

Ooh, I have Telefutura – 45 minutes to kickoff. Was wondering when this match was going off…
